The following dates show when coaching and/or gate practice will happen.
Thursday nights will be from 6.30pm-8pm.Saturday mornings will be from 10am -12noon.

The club have been awarded £500 from Mars Refuel to help develop club activities. Thank you to Peter Wolfe for his hard work in securing this funding. For more details regarding Mars refuel click on the link.

This Saturday 27th March 2010 we intend to finish off the trackworks started earlier in the year.  We will be altering the table top on the first straight and resurfacing anything that hasn’t already been re-surfaced, thus ensuring the track is all ready to ride for our Summer Regional on the 9th May.

Tony at the centre has arranged for a digger and dumper to be at the site all day Saturday and they will be arriving at 8 am  so please turn up as early as possible so that we can maximise use of this resource.

Following the North Region Meeting at Manchester last night there is a date change for the North Region 2010 Summer Series.

The Preston round scheduled for 30th May 2010 has been changed and will now be held on SUNDAY 23RD MAY 2010.

Please all change the date in your diary.

Info from BMX Talk today’s cancelled Manchester regional now re-scheduled to Sunday Feb 28th.

Due to the amount of precipitation (rain,sleet,snow) that has fallen over the last few days we have cancelled the planned track works for tomorrow. The track and surrounding areas are saturated and we would do more damage than good. A new date will be announced soon. There will be no coaching due to the conditions. But kids don’t forget if you can ride in the street, playground etc then practice those skills from last weekend.

The club AGM will take place in the visitors centre at 10 am on Saturday 20th March 2010. All club members are welcome.
This will be followed by gate practice for the regional the next day.

An opportunity has arisen for club members to train in the use of software used for registration etc. Ideally you should have access to a laptop for the course that will be held in the North/Midlands area on 3rd April 2010.If anyone is interested then please contact me by 21st Feb.2010.
You will be expected to help at some regional events.

There is an opportunity for club members to train as race officals. A course will be run on 3rd April in the North East/North West/Yorkshire area. If any body is interested please contact me by 21st Feb. 2010.
